On March 22, 1988, Kim Shrree Howe was brutally murdered. She was thirty-one years old.
Kim’s body was found later that same morning by some neighborhood children on their way to school. Kim’s body was found on a dirt road between Howard Street and Santa
Rosa Drive in the city of Rockledge. Kim was last seen alive earlier that morning in Cocoa, just a few blocks away from where her body was found. At that time Kim made
a report to a Cocoa Police Officer that she was being harassed by an unknown person in a vehicle.
Kim had moved to Cocoa about a year and a half earlier after divorcing her husband in Fort Pierce. Kim was the mother of three children.

In the early morning hours of December 23, 2000, the victims
(Herbert Gordon and two other acquaintances) were in a back room of a residence located at 943 Fiske Bv. in the city of Rockledge. While the three victims were in a
back room, two masked gunmen entered the residence. Upon gaining entry, the two masked, armed suspects entered the back room where the victims were. The homeowner,
Herbert Gordon, was shot by one of the subjects and subsequently died from his injuries. The gunmen then left the residence after taking an undisclosed amount of the
victim’s property.

On April 27, 2001 at approximately 4:50 a.m., unknown person(s)
spray painted racial slurs and burned a cross at a business located in the city of Rockledge. The business owner had also received a threatening letter in the past.
